Drinking glasses made out of used eyeglasses

I have plans to begin manufacturing drinking glasses made entirely out of recycled eyeglasses. I'll make wine glasses, champagne flutes, pilsners, pints, snifters, tulips, weizens, low balls, hi balls and water glasses, but not coffee cups. Nobody likes a clear coffee cup. To let people know my glasses' origins I'll etch or paint a little pair of spectacles on each. Here's a preview of what my design might look like: white wine glass Note: I realize most modern eyeglasses are not made with glass. So I will either have to use old, old eyeglasses, or have to design synthetic-glass drinking glasses. As an added bonus the latter could include optional glare protection and/or transitions lenses (mouse over the image below for a demo): red wine glass
